You can join Gary and Asta in their home and stay in a near-zero carbon footprint environment. No power lines come into the property. All power is generated from solar panels and stored in a large bank of batteries. All water supplies are gathered from the unpolluted rain. Phone contact is via the satellite internet web connection and much of the food is grown on site.

Only one couple can stay at a time in this two bedroom home. Meals are cooked over a wood burning stove in the small kitchen or you can enjoy a New Zealand Bar-B-Que on the back deck.

This is a very informal enviroment where you can get back to nature and enjoy time in a NZ bush home. Do not expect the services of a hotel. This is a place to relax in with a friendly home atmosphere.
